Setup headless raspberry pi with a from mac os

Enable SSHD on your Pi

To enable sshd, insert sd card on your computer and navigate to the root directory using terminal. On macOS find the correct directory in /Volumes enter the via cd.

cd /Volumes/boot

Creates an empty file named “ssh” in the root directory of your sd card.

touch ssh

Once you have ssh into your pi, run this command “raspi-config” then use your arrow keys to navigate to “Interfacing Options”

There you should see an option to enable ssh. If you enable this option, I recommend you also change your password. To do that run “raspi-config” again or using simple command “passwd”.
